Malaysia only provides free school food to the lower quartile of poor students in elementary/primary school. There is a substantial number of students who go without breakfast and break. Their first meal (sometimes the only meal), if they are lucky, will be lunch. How could one expect these students to focus on their studies when their stomach is rumbling! This initiative is to feed students in Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Kerajaan, Buntong, Ipoh — home to many poor students from the community.

Please donate any amount you can, even if it is just the cost of your coffee.  It is a worthy cause.

• Instead of giving conventional gifts to your friends and family why not make a donation in his/her name.
